Learning
Why choose Graceful Willow Learning?
Because it is a curriculum centered in your child and based on our Catholic Faith. It can be implemented step by step, or as a "you make your own" curriculum. Every unit study provides the necessary knowledge and develops skills that, based on the interests of your children, will give them the tools needed to live in this world.
Learning happens when your little one has an interest or a need and they have to find ways to master the skills and understand the information necessary to acquire that knowledge. Is there a better way to learn? Just see what your kids want to learn, and then we will provide a Catholic approved framework for them to learn without a hidden agenda.
Our Curriculum
Our Curriculum is created for every age group, with specific activities and recommendations for each year of life. The unit studies stem from bible passages and encompass everything our little ones need to learn, but from a pure Catholic and Bible-inspired place.
Committed to finding fun ways to learn from everyday-life-experiences, we have compiled different activities you can do with your family even in the most mundane of instances like preparing lunch, doctor appointments, or running errands.

Our Activities
With so many things that happen in everyday life it would be a waste to let those instances pass by without taking advantage of them as learning experiences.
Check out the free recommendations for daily-life events and the mini units derived from them. And even though we don't believe in giving kids "busy work", we have included a few 'filler activities' for those instances in which you need to focus on other things while your little ones are learning or working on a worksheet related to the occasion.

Our Reading Recommendations
With a selection of both faith-based and secular books, we strive to incentivize our children to enjoy reading. Whether it is a fun adventure story or a very dramatic novel, from a news article to an instruction manual, it is important to expose our kids to multiple types of texts and topics so they get in tune with their interests and how to research for information when they want to learn about a specific subject.
Reading also opens doors to different worlds where they can practice empathy when siding or being against a book character; they can exercise critical thinking by drawing their own conclusions and solutions to problems; and they will be developing vocabulary and aid with their writing, which will improve their communication skills; among others.

Other Things
Looking for appropriate content for your children? Look no further! In our others section we suggest some shows we deem ok and appropriate for our family and that either align or don't go against our moral values. We also have a section with our own YouTube videos for the whole family (coming soon!).
Furthermore, we provide a special occasion area with material and activity ideas for the different holidays and feast days so you and your family can enjoy living the liturgical calendar!
Finally, we have a few products I have purchased for or used with my family and that I would recommend to other families, such as amazon products like outdoor gear, craft supplies, toys, etc. and educational websites and toy/subscription box companies we really enjoy.
