Have you ever stopped and reflected on today's society? How did we get here? When did things take such a pronounced 180º turn? Regardless of religion, every society has evolved and women have "awoken" to what they think to be their true purpose.

Men and women were created equal in dignity, but since we are two different people with distinct genders, it is only natural and appropriate to accept that there are differences between us. So, even though this fight to accomplish equality between genders may have a good intention at the root, it is impossible to accomplish. "Life gets a lot easier when you stop expecting apple juice from oranges." - Rigel J. Dawson

To understand better why we find our society in the place it is, we can read what other people have to say, reflect on it, and form our own informed opinion. Carrie Gress does a great job compiling different aspects of society and researching how they have evolved through history.

I recommend starting a book club so you get all its benefits, amongst which the most important ones I see are having a group of people to share your thoughts with and who will keep you accountable for your reading and reflecting on the different topics.

If you are a little bit more on the introverted side, you can also check out YouTube for the book collaboration that many catholic YouTubers made and watch all the videos to see different points of view, interpretations, and all what they want to share. This is the playlist.

For this activity you will need the book The Anti Mary Exposed by Carrie Gress and here you can find a hardcover copy or the kindle version. You can come up with your own questions and reflection points, but I have created a book study guide too. Click here to get it.

I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. Email me with any questions and please share your thoughts and experiences down in the comment section. We will all love to read your insights and grow together in this catholic homeschooling community.

Thank you and God Bless

Maria Ignacia
