Learn From Your Community

Gym
Going to the local gym can be very fun and excellent for children's health. Teach them how to use the machines, allow them to explore the different tools (balls, hula hoops, cones, etc). Remember that you can all work out together if you take the time to teach them how to behave and how to use the specific equipment at the gym.

Library
The library is more than just a place to read or check out books. Most libraries will offer different activities for kids of all ages such as baby story time, preschool story time, stem/steam activities, coloring, games, toys, movies, computer learning games, etc.

Going to a bowling alley is a fun way to interact with others, playing a sport, and enjoying time with family and friends. Bowling requires skills such as strength, concentration, balance, learning to win and lose, taking turns, etc. This is the perfect activity for birthdays, family time, Sunday afternoons, etc.
